OUR HISTORY

Cue Media began in 1997 with a video camera, some editing equipment, and a desire to create quality video productions. In 2000 our operations grew to accommodate the need for web-based media, and so we began to design and develop powerful websites. In 2002 we began pursuing short-film production and have won several local and international awards for our work. 2004 marked our biggest growing phase to date—expansion of our client base by over 80 percent. Our team of designers, programmers, illustrators, writers, animators, and project managers has nearly quadrupled. Today we are one of Salt Lake City’s major design/production firms. And we continue to grow rapidly.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Cue Media will continue to offer our current media services as we move into the broader arena of feature film production. For years Cue Media has offered film and video production services for television commercials, DVDs, and short films, including editing and special effects for several local and national projects.

Cue Media intends to take its place in the top tier of the motion picture industry. Currently, most films and television programs shot in Utah are sent back to Hollywood for post-production. Cue Media’s Salt Lake City studio will include a self-contained crew, and in-house pre- and post-production facilities.

We believe it is important to build a self-sustaining company beyond individual film productions. Our company will continually employ the creative minds behind our projects. Although it is inevitable that some crew will be hired for specific projects, we will eventually have perpetual in-house production capacity for nearly all film-creation and marketing processes.
