As you are probably aware if you watch the news, major record labels have been loudly complaining about loss of revenue and filing lawsuits against preteens for downloading music online. Meanwhile, one record executive recently spent $20 million to go to the international space station for fun.
Eden's Watchtower Records is not in business to take trips to outer space. We provide a place where music fans and art can come together to enjoy music in whatever way they wish. Our mission is to nurture a truly artistic community, and in the process, to create a unique and compelling record label.
HISTORY
Eden's Watchtower Records was founded in 1996 as a label to release albums for the band Elsewhere and has since grown into a full operating independent label. Summerhead and DulceSky were signed to the label in 2001 and 2002 respectively. Iberis, QstandsforQ and Theta Naught followed in 2003. 2004 saw the signing of The Child who was a Keyhole. In 2005, Eden's Watchtower inked papers with The Happies, until then, voted the best unsigned band by Salt Lake City Weekly.
